Privacy notice

A simple explanation of what data this site collects during the current playtest stage.

What is collected

Only the details needed to run updates and playtests.

Murderful currently collects email addresses for newsletter signups and playtest access requests. Access requests may also include your name, expected group size, and any note you choose to send.

Private host links and room access also use the technical records and browser storage needed to authenticate players, keep them connected to a room, and restore their place if a page refreshes. These are necessary for the game service to work.

Google Analytics records aggregated traffic information such as pages visited, approximate location, and how visitors arrived, using cookieless measurement by default. This helps us understand visitor numbers, countries, and which parts of the site and games need attention. Analytics cookies are optional and provide more complete session-level reporting only when accepted.

How it is used

To manage playtests and send relevant updates.

Information submitted through this site is used to review playtest interest, manage host access, and send updates about Murderful when you have chosen to receive them.

The aim is to keep rooms full, manageable, and useful for development.

What does not happen

No selling lists. No spam for the sake of it.

Email addresses are not collected to be sold on or shared casually. The intention is to contact people about Murderful updates, playtests, and access administration only.

Analytics cookies are optional and can be declined from Cookie settings. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising or sell analytics data.
